Welden Theatre Rentals
The Welden offers a variety of private rental options to make your next event extra special! From birthday parties and video game rentals to large group visits, private film screenings, special events, and school field trips, we have something for everyone. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a group outing, or just looking for something fun and different to do with friends, let the Welden make it happen!

Movie selections are subject to availability and may have additonal fees. Please discuss your movie choice when booking. Your movie selection must be selected 2 weeks before your rental date.

Video Game Parties!
$300 MIN: Includes up to 20 guests

Please note that video game rentals are designed for groups of 12 players. Larger groups are welcome, but most games only allow up to 4 players at a time. More guests mean less playing time per person.

No food or drinks are permitted in the theatre during video game rentals. Popcorn and game controllers don't mix! Food and drinks may be enjoyed in the lobby!

Private Theatre Space Use!
$350 Minimum (3 hour block)
Additional Time; $125/hr
Have a film you would like to screen at the Welden? Our theatre space is available for approved film presentations, independent screenings, special events, and other private film-related rentals.
Your group will have private use of the theatre!

The renter is responsible for ticket sales, event promotion, guest management, any other event-related arrangements.

Films must be submitted to the Welden in DCP (Digital Cinema Package) format at least two weeks before the rental date.

The renter is responsible for obtaining all necessary public performance, screening, and licensing for the film.

The Welden Theatre will provide the theatre space and projection services, subject to technical requirements, scheduling, film approval, and staffing availability.

SCHOOL GROUPS!!
The Welden Theatre offers discounted pricing and great package deals for schools and student groups! Our school group options are designed to make a movie field trip fun, easy and affordable with special rates on admission and concessions. Pricing varies depending on your group size and needs. Please contact the St. Albans Recreation Department to learn more about our school group rates and available options!

RESPONSIBILITY

The renter is responsible for all guests and for ensuring theat all members of their group follow Welden Theatre policies and staff instruction.

The renter is responsible for any damage caused during the rental.

The renter must be present for the entire rental.

Staff will assist with theatre setup, equipment, concessions, and general operation.

Staff are NOT responsibkle for supervising guests or children.

The theatre must be left in the same condition it was found
